Using the service

VideoNotepad helps you find public videos, create timestamped notes, review saved moments, and generate study questions. You are responsible for your account, your notes, and lawful use of the service. Do not use VideoNotepad to infringe rights, interfere with the service, or attempt to bypass limits or restrictions imposed by VideoNotepad, YouTube, or content owners.

YouTube services

VideoNotepad uses YouTube API Services and the standard YouTube embedded player. By using those parts of VideoNotepad, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. VideoNotepad is an independent learning product and is not sponsored or endorsed by YouTube or Google.

Videos, availability, advertising, playback restrictions, captions, search results, and creator content are controlled by YouTube and the applicable content owners. VideoNotepad does not host or sell YouTube videos and cannot guarantee that a particular video, caption track, or Premium benefit will remain available.

Your notes

You retain responsibility for text you write in VideoNotepad. Keep only material you have the right to store, and do not place passwords, financial information, or other highly sensitive information in a note. You may edit or delete your saved notes from the notebook.

Availability and learning results

VideoNotepad may change, pause, or discontinue features to protect users, comply with third-party requirements, or improve the product. Notes, generated questions, captions, and explanations are learning aids; they can contain errors and should not be treated as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.

These terms may be updated as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the current terms displayed here.
