Using the service

VideoNotepad lets you paste a YouTube link, create timestamped notes, review saved moments, and generate study questions. You are responsible for your account, your notes, and lawful use of the service. Do not use VideoNotepad to infringe rights, interfere with the service, or attempt to bypass limits or restrictions imposed by VideoNotepad, YouTube, or content owners.

YouTube services

VideoNotepad accepts pasted YouTube links and plays them through YouTube's standard embedded player and IFrame Player API. VideoNotepad does not provide in-app YouTube search or require you to connect a Google account. By using YouTube playback in VideoNotepad, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. VideoNotepad is an independent learning product and is not sponsored or endorsed by YouTube or Google.

Videos, availability, advertising, playback restrictions, captions, and creator content are controlled by YouTube and the applicable content owners. VideoNotepad does not host or sell YouTube videos and cannot guarantee that a particular video, caption track, or Premium benefit will remain available.

Your notes

You retain responsibility for text you write in VideoNotepad. Keep only material you have the right to store, and do not place passwords, financial information, or other highly sensitive information in a note. You may edit or delete your saved notes from the notebook.

Free use and subscriptions

A free account may create notebooks for up to two unique videos. Notes already saved in those notebooks remain available even after the free limit is reached. A paid VideoNotepad Premium subscription allows additional video notebooks while the subscription remains active.

Premium is offered for $9 per month or $90 per year, plus any applicable taxes shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period until canceled. You can manage or cancel through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable. Stripe processes payments under its own terms and privacy policy.

Availability and learning results

VideoNotepad may change, pause, or discontinue features to protect users, comply with third-party requirements, or improve the product. Notes, generated questions, captions, and explanations are learning aids; they can contain errors and should not be treated as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the current terms displayed here.
